Terms of Service
Last updated: June 11, 2026
These Terms govern your use of DutyBolt, provided by DutyBolt, Inc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What DutyBolt does
DutyBolt is software that prepares claim files from import records you provide. It classifies entries, estimates potential refunds, and generates CAPE Declaration files formatted for the ACE portal. You file those files in your own ACE account. DutyBolt does not file with CBP on your behalf, does not provide legal, customs-brokerage, or tax advice, and is not affiliated with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
2. No guarantee of outcome
Refund eligibility and amounts are determined solely by CBP. Estimates produced by DutyBolt are informational and may differ from what CBP ultimately pays. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you upload and for reviewing files before filing.
3. Your account
You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must verify your email (via the one-time code we send) before filing-related features unlock.
4. Acceptable use
- Upload only records you are authorized to submit.
- Do not attempt to breach, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
- Do not upload malware or files you do not have the right to process.
5. Plans & payment
The refund estimate is free. Building and downloading CAPE files requires a paid plan. The Individual plan is a one-time payment for up to 5,000 entries; Enterprise is custom. Payments are processed by Razorpay in USD. See our Refund Policy.
6. Intellectual property
DutyBolt and its software, design, and content are owned by DutyBolt, Inc. The CAPE files generated from your data are yours to use for your filings. You retain ownership of the import records you upload.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DutyBolt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. See our full Disclaimer.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes are reflected by the date above.
